Atividades desenvolvidas pela assistência farmacêutica no CAPS-AD estação Vicente Araújo localizado na cidade do Recife-PE: um estudo descritivo

Abstract

Introduction: With health reform and implementation of the Unified Health System focused on psychosocial care, the new view of the individual in society and the Psychosocial Care Centers, health professionals, including the pharmacist, always need to be in search of a new network of services and care for psychosocial health. Objective: To report the technical and managerial and assistance actions of the Pharmaceutical Assistance Center of a Psychosocial Care Alcohol and Drugs from the hiring of the pharmacist and the impact of these activities on improving the quality of care and patient care. Methodology: A descriptive, observational and longitudinal study was carried out at the Center for Psychosocial Alcohol and Drug Attention Vicente Araújo Station located in Recife. For data collection, a direct observation was made of the operational and logistic processes developed in the service from the perspective of the researcher and the pharmacist. Results: The data included aspects from the physical structure, elaboration of flows and processes to pharmacy education, demonstrating that there was a great advance in the Management of Pharmaceutical Assistance in the Psychosocial Care Center. Conclusion: Even with the advances that have been described, there are still other elements to measure and record the pharmaceutical activities developed in the unit to strengthen the Pharmaceutical Assistance in the service.
