Uso do genograma e ecomapa como instrumentos complementares à anamnese na atenção primária à saúde

Abstract

The ackowlegment of family and community as active participants in the process of chronic illness is fundamental for the development of strategies that benefits integral health care. This work aims to describe the use of Genogram and Ecomap graphic methods to help understanding the influence of hypertensive patient's relationship with his family and community. This is an exploratory-descriptive study, based on the literature and a pre-structured interview with open questions, carried out with ten hypertensive patients enrolled in Family Health Strategy (ESF) in Recife-PE. The evaluation of the data was carried out under qualitative methodology and subsequent application in the graphic instruments. The methods studied have demonstrated their applicability in considerating the interactions of the chronic patient and how they reflect in the compensation of their disease.
