Abstract: Introduction: Urinary incontinence (UI) is described as involuntary urine loss during any kind of physical effort. It is important to recognize, during the avaliation* of patients who have IUE, factors as frequency of the urine loss, social and occupational impacts of the disease, effects on life quality. It is known, also, that there are some clinical and epidemiological predictors that may increase the risk of developing UIE on the population of pregnant adolescents. Objectives: To analyze the demographic and bioreprodutive profile of pregnant adolescents who presents SUI, evaluating the incidence of SUI in this specific population. Despite this, it is also an objective of this study to trace the risk factors that may encourage the development of IUE, such as urine loss before the pregnancy. Methods: Were analyzed clinical and epidemiological data from pregnant adolescents after the first trimester of pregnancy. The patients, that realize prenatal attendance at IMIP, were submitted to a data collection through a questionnaire. Results: The data were obtained from 52 pregnant women predominantly aged between 17 and 19 years old . The most common finding on the patients analyzed was urine loss during minor efforts such as laughing, coffing, sneezering ; starting on 1st trimester. 34,62% of the patients presented SUI which was associated with sexual activity. The frequency of sexual activity per week didn't show as a determinant factor in development of SUI. 10 patients (19,23%) claim to have urine loss recurrently. Only 9,6% of the women analyzed used to have symptoms of SUI before the pregnancy Conclusion: This study was useful about tracing the clinic, epidemiologic and biorreproductive profile of pregnant adolescents that presentes SUI attended at IMIP.The majority of the adolescents analyzed were from Recife, brown ethnicity, aged between 17- 19 years old and high school completed. New studies are needed for a broader approach of the topic.
