dc.description.abstractObjetivo: Analisar o perfil epidemiológico de gestantes diagnosticadas com pielonefrite internadas no setor de gestação de alto risco (GAR) do Instituto de Medicina Integral Professor Fernando Figueira (IMIP). Método: estudo transversal e prospectivo através da análise dos prontuários e aplicação de questionários nas gestantes internadas para investigação e/ou tratamento de pielonefrite no período de agosto de 2017 a março de 2018. Resultados: Dentre as 47 pacientes incluídas no estudo, a idade mediana encontrada foi de 23 anos e a afecção foi mais prevalente em gestantes solteiras (42,6%), pardas (51,1%), eutróficas (55,3%) e com ensino superior (40,0%). Além disso, 38,3% eram nulíparas e 81,0% estavam no 2º/3º trimestre de gestação. Os sinais e sintomas mais frequentes foram sinal de Giordano positivo (70,2%), febre (61,7%) e disúria (55,3%). A doença prévia mais comum entre elas foi a infecção de trato urinário (48,9%). Entre as pacientes internadas, 48,9% apresentaram hemoglobina baixa, com média de 10,8 mg/dl e 48,1% das uroculturas foram positivas, sendo a E. coli a bactéria mais encontrada (72,9%). O antibiótico mais utilizado foi a ceftriaxona (80,9%) e 72,3% das pacientes tiveram como desfecho alta sem intercorrências. Conclusão: Gestantes solteiras, pardas, eutróficas, com ensino superior, nulíparas e que estavam no 2º ou 3º trimestre de gestação foram o perfil mais frequente.pt_BR
dc.description.sponsorshipObjectives: To analyze the health profile of pregnant women with the diagnosis of pyelonephritis hospitalized at IMIP. Methods: Cross-sectional and prospective study of 47 pregnant women who had pyelonephritis during pregnancy which took place between august 2017 and march 2018, at IMIP. The analysis was based on questionnaires as well as on the hospital’s database. Results: Among the 47 patients included in the study, the median age was 23 years old and the infection was most observed on single (42,6%), with brown skin (51,1%), eutrophic (55,3%) and with higher education (40,0%) women. Besides, 38,3% of them were nulliparous and 81,0% were in the course of 2nd/3rd trimesters. The signs and symptoms most observed were positive Giordano (70,2%), fever (61,7%) and dysuria (55,3%). Previous urinary tract infections were the most prevalent risk factor found (48,9%). Among the hospitalized women, 48,9% manifested low hemoglobin levels, about 10,8 mg/dl and 48,1% of urine culture test were positive, being E. coli the most found bacterium (72,9%). The most used antibiotic was ceftriaxone (80,9%) and 72,3% of the patients had hospital discharge without complications during internment. Conclusion: Single, brown skin, eutrophic, with higher education and nulliparous, as well as in the course of 2nd/3rd trimester pregnant women were the most observed profile of patients.pt_BR
