Título: Relação do estado nutricional e parâmetros clínicos com a percepção da qualidade de vida em pacientes que vivem com HIV/AIDS acompanhados no ambulatório de um Hospital de Pernambuco

Resumo: The objective of the present study was to relate nutritional status and clinical parameters to the perception of quality of life of patients living with HIV / AIDS infection. An observational cross-sectional observational study, developed between May and July of 2018, with 120 patients, of both sexes, aged over 18 years. Clinical demographic characteristics such as: age, sex, cause and time of infection, comorbidities, medications and occurrences related to nutritional status, anthropometric and biochemical parameters were obtained. In the evaluation of the perception of quality of life, the HAT-QoL Questionnaire (HIV / AIDS Targeted Quality of life) was used. Minor medians were evidenced regarding financial concern and secrecy. There was a positive correlation between CD4 levels with the general function domains and life satisfaction, a negative correlation between levels of viral load with domains total score, general function, life satisfaction, health concern and medication concern . In the comparison between nutritional status and quality of life, there was a significant difference between the anthropometric parameters Body Mass Index (BMI), Circumference of the Arm (CB) and the domains satisfaction with life, confidence in the physician, general function and sexual activity. The results show a significant relationship between the nutritional status and quality of life of patients with HIV / AIDS. Thus, emphasizing the need for an adequate nutritional monitoring in order to contribute to a better quality of life of these individuals.
