Objectives: to describe the epidemiological, clinical, laboratory and therapeutic profile of hospitalized patients with Kawasaki Disease (KD) at the Instituto de Medicina Integral Prof. Fernando Figueira (IMIP) between January/2008 and December/2017. Methods: a crosssectional study was conducted between January/2019 and June/2019 with analysis of medical records of patients with KD suspect. The epidemiological, clinical, laboratorial and therapeutic characteristics were verified only in confirmed cases. The collected data were arranged at Excel 2010 for Windows and statistically analyzed through the software STATA/SE 12.0. The study was approved by the Ethics Committee at IMIP. Results: 57 cases were analyzed and 41 of these met the diagnostic criteria for KD. The average age of 2.7 (± 2.4) years old was obtained with male predominance. The following findings were recorded in descending order of occurrence: fever, skin rash, conjunctivitis, oral changes, cervical adenopathy, and extremity changes. Most cases had altered hemoglobin, leukocyte, platelet and CRP counts. 73 echocardiograms were analyzed and, of these, 39 presented alterations. The acetylsalicylic acid was administered in 92.7% of the patients, but the simultaneous use with intravenous immunoglobulin was performed only in 31.7% of the cases. The prevalent differential diagnoses were scarlet fever, undefined streptococcal infection and arboviruses. Conclusion: Most of the data obtained are consistent with the literature, although the therapeutic practice is outside the ideal standards.pt_BR
