Abstract: Objective: To correlate the nutritional profile with the work income associated with possible chronic diseases in Nutrition Service collaborators of the Food and Nutrition Unit (UAN). Materials and Methods: Descriptive qualitative study of the exploratory and cross - sectional type. Comprising a sample composed of 49 employees aged 18 and over, of both sexes. A structured questionnaire was applied and the anthropometric evaluation was performed (Weight, Height, Waist Circumference and BMI). Results: Regarding the nutritional status of UAN employees, a high percentage of overweight (40.8%) and obesity grade 1 (10.2%) were observed. Regarding the presence of Arterial Hypertension, 6.1% have the disease, of which 2% are overweight. Regarding food consumption, it was possible to verify that daily consumption of vegetables is higher when compared to fruit consumption, whose percentages were 55.1% and 34.7%, respectively. Conclusion: The analysis of the data obtained in this research indicates a relevant percentage of inadequate nutritional status of UAN employees. Through nutritional assessment, a large number of overweight employees were observed associated with inappropriate eating habits that could compromise their health.
